A beautiful property in stunning rural location, this family loved their house but did not like the energy bills caused by the ineffective windows and drafts from old doors.

The solution

High-performance windows and doors made from Accoya, coated in Teknos with Planitherm One double glazed units.

 

The sliding sash windows have locking heritage fitch fasteners and angel vent locks for safety. The angled casement windows have friction hinges with Espag bolts and locking handles. The doors have multipoint locks and Ultion 3* euro cylinders which offer peace of mind for security.

 

The Planitherm One glass from Saint-Gobain offers a U-value of 1.0 and solar control blocking, which defects the suns heat but allows light in. Making the house cooler in summer, warmer in winter.
