Powell Joinery have just completed the work and fitted 5 sash windows and 1 Yorkshire slider on my property, a listed building situated in a conservation area.
(Planning was rejected but Powell's put in an appeal with evidence and the replacement windows were approved.)

Nat and his team recently replaced all of our original timber single glazed bay and sash windows at the front of the house, as well as our porch and front door. Living in an old house in a conservation area we wanted to make sure the house retained its appearance and character - they were able to fully replicate the appearance. Now we have a much smarter looking, warmer house with a solid front door! Nat and his team were good throughout the work with excellent communication and were very proactive in dealing with any issues we had once they were installed. They also spent time coming back to touch up the paintwork once they were fully installed and associated building work had been completed. The windows and doors were not 'cheap' - but they were definitely the right choice for us.

This approach gives little sense of the quality of a company but as soon as I met Nat Powell I had a clear sense that this man knew what he was talking about and had a passion for his subject and the quality of his work. We wanted to replace our pine staircase with one made of oak. Mr Powell and his team did a magnificent job, it looks lovely and is clearly well made. The job was finished in 3 days with the team working hard, 8.15 to 5.00 every day. They were polite and efficient and even let the dogs out for us when we had to go out! Can't recommend them highly enough.

I cannot recommend Powell Joinery enough. We have recently been going through a long renovation project using many different companies. Hands down Powell's have been the best company we have dealt with, especially Vicki. From the first phone call she has worked her socks off to help and accommodate our needs/wishes.
